Brother Stair was born on Fire Lane in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on May 3,1933. As a boy God burned in his heart the same words spoken to the Prophet Jeremiah by Almighty God….
Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD. Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.” ~Jeremiah 1:4-10
At the age of 16, he heard God say to him…”Now or Never.” It was then that He was born again and filled with Holy Spirit. At that young age he began preaching the Gospel and was soon an ordained minister in the Methodist church. Early on, Brother Stair desired to go to Bible college, however, God specifically told him not to receive anything from man, and not to go to the Bible school. After years of experience, God led him to literally do what the scriptures command the children of God……”Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.” II Corinthians 6:17
Brother Stair came out of organized Christianity and moved to South Carolina in 1978 where he now lives on a small Christian community with approximately one hundred other believers. They live together in unity on this small farm and prepare for the soon return of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is here that he sends forth The Overcomer radio broadcast to every nation in the nations of the world by way of Shortwave, AM/FM Radio, Satellites. The Last Day Prophet is bying used by God to identify the Elect and to encourage the saints to be alive and remaining at His Appearing.
Commands that God told Brother Stair to give to the people of God that are being prepared to endure the greatest tribulation since the world began are these…. Come out of the Churches….Get the Televisions out of your home….Stop going to the Doctors…
Specifically, God told Brother Stair he would also do three major things in his lifetime…. He would make a trip to the The Soviet Union, to China, and finally he would stand before the Pope of Rome. All three of these things seemed impossible to him at the time, but now the only thing left to do is stand before the Pope.
For over six decades now have passed since Brother Stair heard those words “Now or Never,” and he is still preaching the Gospel that was burned in his heart from a child He is reaching every nation in the word with the most extensive broadcasting schedule and coverage of any man in history.
